The wait is over, official images of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 released
If you have been waiting for Samsung’s Aug. 2nd event, you are not alone. The event was rumored to be the official release stage for the Galaxy Note 7, which was later confirmed through Samsung’s invitation.
However, due to the Samsung-tracking blog SamMobile the wait is over. The new Samsung flagship follows the rumored S7 like curved screen and home button. It also comes in three sleek colors: silver, gold, and blue. We are guessing a black model is in the works too, just not part of the press photos.
The front of the device is exactly as the earlier leaked images described, however we are unable to confirm any iris scanner at this time. But it is expected that the device will have a scanner, which was also foreshadowed in Samsung’s invite with a stylus made iris depicted on it.
No other specifications have been released so far, but the device is expected to have a 6 GB RAM, quad HD Super AMOLED screen, 5.8-inch, with a 12 megapixel rear camera.
The official unveiling is two weeks away, live streaming of the event will be available at samsung.com
