Motorola just announced a release date to its awaited Moto G, this will be the fourth-generation of the device and is expected to be one of the best devices in the market keeping price and specs in mind. The phone will, like other devices, be available at all big retailers such as Walmart, Amazon, Best Buy, B&H, Sam’s Club, etc.
It will be available as a GSM unlocked phone for T-Mobile and AT&T subscribers, and CDMA for Verizon and Sprint subscribers.
If you need a refresher on why the Moto G is a “best buy” literally for it’s price and specs, here is a list of specs of the fourth-generation Moto G. A 5.5-inch IPS HD display, 2GB RAM, available in 16-32GB of internal storage (yes, you can expand to 128GB with microSD), 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor. The Moto G will also a 3,000 mAh battery. The camera will be a 13-megapixel on the back with f/2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel on the front with f/2.2 aperture.
Moto G4 will be released with a higher model with a more powerful option known as the Moto G4 Plus.
The G4 Plus will have a 5.5-inch IPS HD display, 2GB or 4GB RAM, available in 16-32-64 GB of internal storage (yes, you can expand to 128GB with microSD), 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor. It will also have a fingerprint sensor and a 3,000 mAh battery. The camera will be a 16-megapixel on the back with f/2.0 aperture with laser autofocus and phase detection. And the selfie front camera will be a 5 mp, same as the Moto G.
These phones are a big player for the Lenovo owned company, as they fit into most budgets very easily and offer great return on investment with their specs. It is really impressive to see Motorola’s work on its budget-focused devices in the past years, hopefully these devices will not dissapoint. My only worry or disappointment was the camera and the processor, but hey can’t fit everything into a budget.
